“An Elephant Is Not A Bird,” New Company Publishes Children’s Books To Combat Culture War

Radical woke progressives are targeting your children through books, movies, and other entertainment. They are indoctrinating your very young children to accept and champion radical woke progressives ideals. They are careful to glamorize and normalize communism, socialism, transgenderism, critical race theory, and various other ideas and values that are counterproductive to a healthy and free society. It’s everywhere, disguised as sweet stories with likable characters in popular entertainment.

But conservatives recognize it happening and are fighting back.

Brave Books, a new publishing company, launched this week and will publish exclusively kids books and stories, in an effort to afford parents “a conservative alternative to the current cultural activism that our children are being taught in schools, in the entertainment they watch and the books they read.”

The CEO, Trent Talbot, sounds like he and I are on the same wavelength. He said,

“There is a real war going on for the hearts and minds of our kids. And everywhere I looked was propaganda. Once my eyes were open I was seeing it everywhere and I couldn’t unsee it. I thought there was a need for books that could help parents teach the values they hold dear.”

First up is a book titled “An Elephant Is Not A Bird.” The author, Ashley St. Clair, said it “is an unapologetic rebuke of transgender acceptance and the growing number of young people identifying as a trans.”

An Elephant, Kevin, loves to sing.

A vulture, aptly named Culture, tries to convince him that because he sings beautifully like a bird, he must actually be a bird, not an elephant. Culture the vulture even gives him wings and a beak to wear to make him feel more like the bird that he must actually be. The elephant struggles to identify as a bird.

But, you see, an elephant is not a bird, and that’s OK. And elephant is an elephant, even if he sings and puts on a beak and wings. Simply saying that you are a bird doesn’t mean that you actually are a bird rather than an elephant.

The same is true of children.

Brilliantly, Brave Books is foregoing Amazon and selling only through their website because Amazon would likely censor them or throttle their visibility in an effort to discourage this conservative counter-narrative.

The moral of this story is that if you want to combat the destructive and degrading indoctrination that is occurring from radical woke progressives, then find a way to make your voice as loud as theirs. Start a company with conservative values. Write books with conservative values. Create entertainment with conservative values. If you are unable to do so, then support those who do. Find companies who espouse conservative values and who are pushing back against the radical woke agenda and find a way to support them. Help them make their voices as loud as the radical woke progressives and help to save our children and society while you do.

 I like this idea. Good to see that a company is finally fighting back against Leftist propaganda.
