In just a few days, attorney Michael can der Veen has gone from being an unknown attorney to rock star status.
After giving an unexpected presentation during the impeachment, he followed that up with a national interview.
The interview has won him celebrity status because he called out the media for what most of us have been thinking for the better part of the last five years.
The Interview
As van der Veen settled into the interview, the subject of the doctored evidence presented by the House managers was brought up.
When CBC News’ Lana Zak discussed the doctoring, she was clearly trying to downplay what Democrats had done in the way she phrased her “presentation” to her viewers.
Well, let’s just say that van der Veen was having none of it.
The attorney very calmly went off, calling out not only this journalist but all of the media for the slanted coverage and the failure to call out Democrats for what they had done.
