Lakers Fan Fireworks Video
One fan of the Los Angeles Lakers had a very bad night after the team won the 2020 NBA championship.
In a video shared by the Los Angeles Police department, a man can be seen moments after blowing his hand off with a firework as police rush in.
In the video, you can see police apply a tourniquet to the arm with the missing hand. Eventually, the man is whisked away in an ambulance. Watch the insane video below.
I hate to sound mean, but this is a classic example of playing stupid games and winning stupid prizes. That’s really the simplest way to put it.
You know what’s pretty much never a good idea? Holding lit fireworks in your hands. That will almost always end poorly.
Sure, I understand being juiced up after winning the NBA title. I totally understand being excited. Nobody is knocking that.
However, that doesn’t mean you should start messing around with low-grade explosives, which is more or less what fireworks are.
You might find yourself without a hand!
Hopefully, this guy makes a full recovery and his situation serves as a cautionary tale to others.
