·      Destroyed the ISIS territorial Caliphate in Syria and Iraq.

·      Secured $130 billion in new defense spending for NATO; and $400 billion by 2024. 

·      Withdrew from the one-sided Iran Deal and imposed the toughest sanctions ever.

·      Trump signed the Save our Seas Act which funds $10 million per year to clean tons of plastic & garbage from the ocean.

·      President Trump signed a bill that creates five national monuments, expands several national parks, adds 1.3 million acres of wilderness, and permanently reauthorizes the Land and Water Conservation Fund.

·      Protected our beautiful lands and waters by investing billions of dollars in water infrastructure and by cleaning a record number of toxic and polluted superfund sites.

·      Withdrew the United States from the job-killing Paris Climate Accord in 2017 and that same year the U.S. still led the world by having the largest reduction in Carbon emissions.

 

Passed the largest package of Tax Cuts and reforms in American history:

·      $1.4 trillion dollars has poured back in the U.S.

·      The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act signed into law by Trump doubled the maximum amount of the child tax credit available to parents and lifted the income limits so more people could claim it. $2200 average.

·      Created a new tax credit also for other dependents.

·      Saved family farms from the death tax.

·      Under our tax cuts, small businesses can now deduct 20% of their business income.

·      Provided first ever tax credit for employers who provide paid parental leave for employees earning $72,000 or less annually.

·      The share of total wealth held by the bottom half of households has increased while the share held by the top 1 percent has decreased.

·      Companies have brought back over a TRILLION dollars from overseas because of the TCJA bill that Trump signed.

·      As a result of the Republican tax bill, small businesses will have the lowest top marginal tax rate in more than 80 years.

·      The Child and Dependent Care Tax Credit (CDCTC) signed into law by Trump provides a tax credit equal to 20-35% of child care expenses, $3,000 per child & $6,000 per family + Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) allow you to set aside up to $5,000 in pre-tax $ to use for child care.

·      President Trump’s historic tax cut legislation included new Opportunity Zone Incentives to promote investment in low-income communities across the country.

 

Ended the War on American Energy.  U.S. is the #1 producer of oil and gas on earth:

·      The typical family now saves an average of $2,500 a year on their energy bills.

·      The U.S. is now a net exporter of energy; we have declared Energy Independence.

·      Opened ANWR and approved the Keystone XL and Dakota Access Pipelines.

·      Canceled the illegal, anti-coal, so-called Clean Power Plan.

·      Increased coal exports by more than 54%.

·      U.S. oil production recently reached all-time high so we are less dependent on oil from the Middle East.

·      The U.S. is a net natural gas exporter for the first time since 1957.

·      Under Trump’s leadership, in 2018 the U.S. surpassed Russia and Saudi Arabia to become the world’s largest producer of crude oil.

·      Made a deal with the European Union to increase U.S. energy exports to Europe.

·      Secured $250 billion in new trade and investment deals in China and $12 billion in Vietnam.

Building the wall and support Strong Borders and No Crime:

·      Over 275 miles of wall already built.  On pace to build 500 miles by early next year.

·      Reduced illegal border crossings by a staggering 78% since May 2019.

·      Ended Catch-and-Release.

·      Seized a record amount of drugs and deported a record number of gang members.

·      Protected Americans from terrorists with the Travel Ban, upheld by the Supreme Court.

·      Improved vetting for refugees, and switched focus to overseas resettlement.

·      Trump secured Billions that will fund the building of a wall at our southern border.

 

We are taking care of our great Veterans:

·      Signed historic VA choice legislation and the VA accountability Act

·      Expanded VA telehealth services, walk-in clinics, same-day urgent primary and mental healthcare, and launched the promised 24-hour Veteran hotline & staffed it with veterans.

·      Took executive action to prevent Veteran suicide and eliminate student loan debts for disabled Veterans.

·      Signed bills expanding the eligibility for vets with blindness in both eyes, and requiring the VA to establish a treatment court program for vets who need treatment rather than punishment for nonviolent crimes. 

·      Trump signed measure funding prevention programs for Veteran suicide.

·       VA employees are being held accountable for poor performance, with more than 4,000 VA employees removed, demoted, and suspended so far.

·      Issued an executive order requiring the Secretaries of Defense, Homeland Security, and Veterans Affairs to submit a joint plan to provide veterans access to mental health treatment as they transition to civilian life.

 

We are standing up for our great African-American community:

·      Signed groundbreaking Criminal Justice Reform

·      Increased funding for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) by more than 14%.

·      8,764 communities across the country have been designated as Opportunity Zones.

·      Opportunity Zones are expected to spur $100 billion in long-term private capital investment in economically distressed communities across the country.

·      Achieved the lowest black unemployment rate in history, and will do it again.

·      We are fighting for SCHOOL CHOICE – education is the civil rights issue of our time.

·      African-American unemployment is at an all-time low.

·      In 2018, President Trump signed the groundbreaking First Step Act, a criminal justice bill which enacted reforms that make our justice system fairer and help former inmates successfully return to society.

·      The First Step Act’s reforms addressed inequities in sentencing laws that disproportionately harmed Black Americans and reformed mandatory minimums that created unfair outcomes.

·      The First Step Act expanded judicial discretion in sentencing of non-violent crimes.

·      Over 90% of those benefitting from the retroactive sentencing reductions in the First Step Act are Black Americans.

·      The First Step Act provides rehabilitative programs to inmates, helping them successfully rejoin society and not return to crime.

·      Signed legislation forgiving Hurricane Katrina debt that threatened HBCUs.

·      Made HBCUs a priority by creating the position of executive director of the White House Initiative on HBCUs.

·      Trump received the Bipartisan Justice Award at a historically black college for his criminal justice reform accomplishments.

 

Ensuring great healthcare with MORE AFFORDABILITY and MORE CHOICE:

·      Repealed the core of Obamacare - unpopular individual mandate penalty GONE.

·      Eliminated the health insurance tax, medical devices tax, and the Cadillac tax.

·      New insurance options through association health plans, short-term plans, and health reimbursement arrangements; some are up to 60% less expensive.

·      To empower patients to choose the best doctor at the best price, we are giving Americans transparency with the price and quality of services BEORE you buy. 

·      In 2019 President Donald Trump signed the Autism Collaboration, Accountability, Research, Education and Support Act (CARES) into law which allocates $1.8 billion in funding over the next five years to help people with autism spectrum disorder and to help their families.

·      In 2019 President Trump signed into law two funding packages providing nearly $19 million in new funding for Lupus specific research and education programs, as well an additional $41.7 billion in funding for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the most Lupus funding EVER.

·      Trump signed a bill making CBD and Hemp legal.

·      Signed an executive order this year that forces all healthcare providers to disclose the cost of their services so that Americans can comparison shop and know how much less providers charge insurance companies.

·      Hospitals will now be required to post their standard charges for services, which include the discounted price a hospital is willing to accept.

·      In the eight years prior to President Trump’s inauguration, prescription drug prices increased by an average of 3.6% per year. Under Trump, drug prices have seen year-over-year declines in nine of the last ten months, with a 1.1% drop as of the most recent month.

·      Signed an order allowing small businesses to group together when buying insurance to get a better price.

 

Ensuring protections for vulnerable patients:

·      Took action to require health insurance companies to cover all pre-existing conditions for all customers.

·      We are protecting Medicare and Social Security for our great seniors.

·      We are working with Congress so that no American will be blindsided by bills for medical services they never agreed to in advance.

·      Reformed Medicare program to stop hospitals from overcharging low-income seniors on their drugs saving seniors 100’s of millions of $$$ this year alone.

·      Medicare Advantage premiums have decreased by 27% and Medicare Part D premiums are the lowest in 7 years.

·      Made new plans available for individuals with chronic conditions that cover medications like insulin without cost-sharing

 

We are turning the tide on the crisis of addiction with $6 billion in new funding:

·      Drug overdose deaths fell nationwide in 2018 for the first time in nearly 30 years.

·      Many of the hardest hit states have had the biggest drops, including: OH (22.2%), PA (26.0%), KY (17.8%), FL (4.6%), IA (5.9%), and WV (18.0%).

·      Opioid prescribing has fallen by over 35% since January 2017.

·      We are stopping more fentanyl from pouring across our border (+21% last year).

·      We launched FindTreatment.gov, a tool to find help for substance abuse.

·      Secured $6 billion in new funding and then an additional $100 million to fight the opioid crisis in rural America

 

Education Action not included Above

·      President Trump has called on Congress to pass school choice legislation so that no child is trapped in a failing school because of his or her zip code.

·      The President signed funding legislation in September 2018 that increased funding for school choice by $42 million.

·      The tax cuts signed into law by President Trump promote school choice by allowing families to use 529 college savings plans for elementary and secondary education.

·      Signed the first Perkins CTE reauthorization since 2006, authorizing more than $1 billion for states each year to fund vocational and career education programs.

·      Trump directed the Education Secretary to end Common Core.

·      Executive order expanding apprenticeship opportunities for students and workers.

 

Working to end the scourge of Human Trafficking: 

·      Trump signed the “Allow States and Victims to Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act” (FOSTA), which includes the “Stop Enabling Sex Traffickers Act” (SESTA) which both give law enforcement and victims new tools to fight sex trafficking.

·      Through Trump’s Anti-Trafficking Coordination Team (ACTeam) initiative, Federal law enforcement more than doubled convictions of human traffickers and increased the number of defendants charged by 75% in ACTeam districts.

·      In 2018, the Department of Justice (DOJ) dismantled an organization that was the internet’s leading source of prostitution-related advertisements resulting in sex trafficking.

·      Trump’s OMB published new anti-trafficking guidance for government procurement officials to more effectively combat human trafficking.

·      Trump’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations arrested 1,588 criminals associated with Human Trafficking.

·      Trump’s Department of Health and Human Services provided funding to support the National Human Trafficking Hotline to identify perpetrators and give victims the help they need.

·      The hotline identified 16,862 potential human trafficking cases.

·      The hotline identified 23,000 SURVIVORS of trafficking in 2018 alone.

·      In the last three years, ICE has arrested over 5,000 wicked human traffickers.

·      Trump’s DOJ provided grants to organizations that support human trafficking victims – serving nearly 9,000 cases from July 1, 2017, to June 30, 2018.

·      The Justice Department issued $35 million in grants to 73 organizations nationwide providing assistance to human trafficking victims and survivors during COVID.

 

To Vanquish COVID-19, we launched the greatest national mobilization since WWII:

·      Took early action by implementing travel restrictions from China, Europe, and Iran.

·      Developed the most advanced testing system on earth-conducted 65 million tests.

·      U.S. is 5% of the world’s population, but we conducted 25% of the world’s testing.

·      Through Operation Warp Speed, three vaccine candidates have now moved into Phase Three trials in record time.  Recently approved $1 billion for Johnson & Johnson to manufacture and distribute 100 million doses as soon as one is available.

·      Reduced mortality by 85% since April, through the use of therapies such as Remdesivir, dexamethasone, and antibody treatments.  We have secured over 4.1 million doses of Remdesivir, enough to treat over 650,000 patients.

·      Treated 86,000 Americans with convalescent plasma – which can reduce mortality by 50%.

·      More than 230 clinical trials of potential treatments are underway.

·      We have worked with the private sector to coordinate the delivery of more than 196 million N95 respirators, 815 million surgical masks, 20 billion gloves, 34 million face shields, and 354 million gowns.

·      We have replenished the long-neglected National Stockpile by tripling the number of N95 masks on hand to over 45 million, tripling the number of gowns to 15 million, and quadrupling the number of ventilators to 75,000.

·      Through the Defense Production Act, we awarded contracts for 200,000 ventilators.

·      No American who has needed a ventilator has been denied a ventilator.

·      Delivered 700 rapid point-of-care testing devices & 300,000 tests to nursing homes.

·      Signed an executive order requiring federal agencies to purchase all essential medicines from American sources.

 

The Great American Comeback out of COVID:

·      A combined total of over 9 million jobs were created since May – surpassing market expectations by a total of 12 million new jobs.

·      Over the last three months, added nearly 4 million leisure and hospitality jobs; 1.47 million retail jobs; 1.17 million education & healthcare jobs; 743,000 service jobs; 623,000 manufacturing jobs; and 639,000 construction jobs.

·      Half of all new jobs are full time jobs.  Wages rose 4.8 % year over year.

·      In July, the unemployment rate fell to 10.2% - dropping by over 30% since April.

·      Jobs held by African-Americans rose by nearly 1 million over the past three months.

·      Jobs held by Hispanic-Americans increased 2.3 million over the last three months.

·      Job gains since April represent a recovery of 42% of jobs lost in March and April.

·      80% of small businesses are now open, up from just 52% in April.

·      Retail sales rose 7.5% in June, following a record-setting 18.2% increase in May.

·      Consumer spending has almost fully recovered from its pandemic-low, with recovery strongest in low-income communities.

·      The latest ISM manufacturing report increased for the third month in a row to 54.2, the highest reading since March 2019.  Since the April low, new orders are up 34 points – the largest increase on record. ISM’s measure of production is up 35 points from its April low, the largest three-month gain in nearly 70 years.

·      Since the March low, vehicle sales are up a stunning 65 percent to 14.5 million units.

·      In Q2, the Dow Jones rose 18%, the S&P 500 rose 20%, and the NASDAQ rose 30%, all posting the best gains in over 20 years.

Enacted over $3 trillion in economic relief, saving many tens of millions of jobs:

·      Signed $2 Trillion CARES act, sending direct cash payments to 80 million workers.

·      Signed $670 billion for the Paycheck Protection Program.  To date, we have processed over 5 million small business loans, and saved 50 million American jobs

·      Took executive action to give a payroll tax holiday through the end of 2020; to provide an extra $400 dollars per week in additional unemployment benefits’ to empower HUD and HHS to extend the freeze on evictions & provide rental support; and to suspend payments on student loans and to extend the 0% interest rates.

 

Additional Overall Accomplishments:

·      Won bids for the 2026 World Cup and the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.

·      Signed paid family leave for federal workforce, a model for the rest of the country.

·      Approved billions of dollars in projects to bring broadband to 350,000 households in rural America.

·      Launched W-GDP, a robust whole-of-government approach to global women’s economic empowerment with the goal of empowering 50 million women by 2025 through vocational education, promoting entrepreneurship, and legal reforms.

·      New single-family home sales are up 31.6% in October 2019 compared to just one year earlier.

·      Signed the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund into law.

·      Signed welfare reform requiring able-bodied adults who don’t have children to work or look for work if they’re on welfare.

·      Trump signed 3 bills to benefit Native people. One gives compensation to the Spokane tribe for loss of their lands in the mid-1900s, one funds Native language programs, and the third gives federal recognition to the Little Shell Tribe of Chippewa Indians in Montana.

·      Trump signed a law to make cruelty to animals a federal felony so that animal abusers face tougher consequences.

·      Signed a bill to require airports to provide spaces for breastfeeding Moms.

·      Because of a bill signed and championed by Trump, in 2020, most federal employees will see their pay increase by an average of 3.1% — the largest raise in more than 10 years.

·      Signed into a law up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave for millions of federal workers.

Many don't like the president's demeanor/style. But possibly only an unusual personality can accomplish so much. The media has been remiss in telling you the truth; it is their misinformation that impedes our freedom.  The President did this because 1) no one else was doing it & he was the only one with the guts and 2) he loves our country.
