Major Riot in Seattle, Starbucks Burning — Mob Warns Residents Who Live Above to Evacuate

The mob also set fire to a youth detention facility that is under construction.

The people who live upstairs are being warned to evacuate by the mob.“Moving through the Capitol Hill, hitting a Starbucks. Smoke is coming out the window and people are now calling for the residents above to evacuate,” Mike Baker of the New York Times tweeted.

Local radio host Paul Gallant lives in the apartments upstairs and tweeted that he was told by police to “to stay away in case something explosive is inside.”

“Unrelated, there’s a fire a few blocks from me which had me freaked out when I saw it from the highway. Zero clue what’s going on, but the cat and I are g’ing t f out,” Gallant added. “I feel like I need to buy a firearm, because clearly this is going to keep happening. Enough is enough. It looks like a block party down the street from me. Really angry right now.”

The same mob also violently assaulted bar employees who were photographing them as they attempted to target that business as well.“These workers at a bar/restaurant say some in the crowd attacked and punched them after accusing one of them of taking images of the crowd,” Baker wrote.

Not long before, the mob had set fire to a youth detention facility that is under construction.

Police arrived shortly after the fire at Starbucks and began using pepper spray and flash bangs to try and disperse the criminals.

This is an ongoing riot and the District Herald will be providing updates throughout the evening.
