Former NYPD Com. Bernie Kerik: Riots are Organized and Coordinated, Rioters are Paid Radical Left-Wing Anarchists
Former NYPD Commissioner Bernie Kerik asked the question that many of us have had on our minds over the past week. Given the wildly disproportionate reaction to the death of George Floyd one week ago today, could these riots have been planned in advance, and was the left just waiting for the right incident to trigger them?
Kerik asked, “Is there anyone that truly believes that this was not an organized event? How much do you think it would cost for communications and travel and manpower for an event like this? Who’s money is behind it?”
Kerik spoke to radio host Rebecca Mansour on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight on Friday. Here are some of the points he made and the questions that need to be answered.
Riots and protests across multiple metropolitan cities are coordinated.I think the FBI has to investigate, especially this time, [when] you have enormous coordination between what’s going on in Minneapolis, then L.A., Houston, Atlanta. There’s a bunch of coordination going on.These pop-up riots, where they’re destroying businesses and cars and everything else, who’s paying? When these Antifa people get locked up, who pays their bail? Who gets them out of jail? How did they get there in the first place? Who pays for their communication networks?I would say 10 to 15 percent of the people in Minneapolis that started protesting were from Minneapolis. Eighty to 85 percent of the people there were bused in. They came from somewhere else, and out of that group, you have a core group in a leadership role. The FBI should investigate to see who’s doing this. Who’s behind these groups? Because when you look up the definition of terrorism — threats, intimidation, and extreme violence or violence for political reasons — that’s what these people are doing. These aren’t protesters. These people are paid radical left-wing anarchists that come to instigate and engage in extreme violence, arson, and looting. When you look at some of these people that were in Minneapolis last night, for example, some of the leaders in the group were young white men all dressed up in black with military-grade radio communications, who were central command posts with earpieces.Look around the country. [In] every one of the cities we’re talking about, you’re seeing the same exact thing. You’re seeing the same types of leadership. You’re seeing the same antagonists. These are left-wing radical groups like Antifa, Black Lives Matter, [and] a number of others that are funded by people like [Geroge] Soros and others. They go out and do this for political reasons. When are we going to treat these people as [the] domestic terrorists they are? Because that’s what they are. This is terrorism. This isn’t civil disobedience.
We all know the riots throughout the country aren’t about George Floyd. More likely, they’re about George Soros.
Over and over again, we hear similar descriptions of the rioters by officials from all parts of the country. We’re told that this is an organized effort.
Far left Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot told Craine’s Chicago Business’ Greg Hinz, “There is no doubt. This was an organized effort last night. There were clearly efforts to subvert the peaceful process and make it into something violent.”
Hinz writes, “The mayor says she sees strong evidence to that effect.”
At a Sunday morning press conference, Richmond Police Chief Will Smith said:
We have people from across the country who have traveled [from] many states to be here. We know that this is an organized effort. We’re committed to try and identify those that are behind it. And we’re doing our very level best to arrest those that are perpetrating the violence on our community, our city, and against our citizens.
Smith was asked who the rioters were and how he knew they were not part of the protests. He replied:
We do have anti-fascists, we have some anarchists, to a large degree, but there’s people from outside of this state and outside of this area that we know that are involved and we’re doing our best to identify them and backtracking what their affiliations are. I think that’s clear. When you look at the things that they’re targeting… I think we can all understand attacking the symbols of the past and of the racist past. But when you look at trying to burn down a VCU dormitory, or burn down people’s homes, or burn down and loot the stores that we depend on every day. Those things don’t correlate at all. So, you know, I think there is a much more organized effort, and we’re doing our very best to determine where that’s coming from and who’s pulling the strings.
The Wall Street Journal reports that NYPD investigators said Sunday they “believe outside anarchist groups coordinated efforts to incite violence at the city’s weekend protests, citing communications between members on social media and encrypted platforms. We’re seeing a lot of outside and independent agitators connected with anarchist groups who are deliberately trying to provoke acts of violence.”
I noticed on the first day of protests in Minneapolis that many of the “protesters” were white guys with southern drawls who sounded like they were from TX or AL or AR. The ones that spoke to the media all had backpacks, bandanas, earpieces, or those plastic “French riot masks.” They looked strangely like Antifa. And that was last Monday night.
Others claimed to be from Black Lives Matter, and still others seemed to be teens who were there just to cause trouble.
It all appeared to look like out-of-state, unemployed Antifa agitators looking to make some quick cash from George Soros by trying to whip up the crowd into a frenzy.
Since the left couldn’t break Trump with the Russian collusion hoax, the impeachment hoax, or even with a plague which stopped a booming economy dead in its tracks, they figured that a summer of unrest might be just the thing to hinder the recovery and finish him off for good.
With all the state’s reopening following an overzealous lockdown, and Trump gearing up for an amazing, unprecedented economic recovery, the only thing that Soros and company could do was to create civil unrest.
I don’t know what their reason would have been. Maybe the plan was to stage national riots because the recovery wasn’t happening fast enough. They would have thought of something.
The death of George Floyd provided just the opportunity they needed.
