Man with concealed carry permit kills woman who allegedly began shooting at people outside shopping center

An Oklahoma man told police he fatally shot an armed woman who opened fire on customers outside a shopping center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Police responded to the shooting at about 6:30 p.m. Friday evening and found the woman, who has not yet been identified, dead at the scene. The man who shot her, who has also not been identified, told officers that he fatally shot her after she began shooting at customers, according to the Tulsa World.

The man had a legal permit to carry a concealed weapon and was interviewed by investigators before being released.

Video from the scene reportedly showed the woman getting into an altercation prior to the shooting and then leaving the scene. She returned to the area about three minutes later and then allegedly pulled out a gun and began opening fire.
