The “Very Fake News,” as Trump likes to call CNN, is at it again. This time, they’re claiming Donald Trump is in a deep, dark psychological distress after his impeachment acquittal.
To which we can only say one thing: They wish!
The President isn’t in distress. He’s celebrating. Our system worked as it should. And justice was served. Thus, Trump put yet another Democrat scheme to rest. Still, CNN’s John Harwood thinks he is equipped to evaluate the President’s mental state.Fox News explains:
Appearing on a panel
after Trump’s post-acquittal speech wrapped up, Harwood called the event
a “disturbing tableau for the country.”
“It was dark because he’s made clear that
his mind is dark. This is somebody in deep psychological distress right
now. Self-pitying, insecure, angry,” Harwood told the panel. “He
doesn’t accept abstract concepts like right or wrong, like morality or
immorality, like true or false. He recognizes what is good for him in
the moment.”
Harwood also ripped the Republican Party
for being “reduced to sitting there applauding this rambling, disordered
set of remarks.”

Reporting from outside the White House later that evening, Harwood knocked what he described as Trump’s “rambling soliloquy.”
“The president’s mood is distressed, he’s
wounded, he’s angry and he’s lashing out,” Harwood told CNN anchor Erin
Burnett. “President Trump thinks he himself is the victim here, and so
he’s lashing out.”
The Victim
It’s funny how leftists want to say Trump is “playing the victim” because in reality, he is a victim. He’s the victim of an attempted coup. And he’s the victim of a phony Russian investigation accusing him of collusion. He’s the victim of Mueller’s thirty million dollar report. Trump is also the victim of the impeachment inquiry. And last, but certainly not least, Trump is the victim of a ridiculous witch hunt aimed at tarnishing his victory. But despite every attempt the left made to victimize Donald Trump, he repeatedly squashes them. And that’s the real problem here.

But Trump isn’t dwelling on his victimization.
All he did was take a moment to acknowledge his vindication.
Those are two decidedly different stances.Fox News notes:
Greeted by thunderous applause and a standing ovation by his supporters, the president declared “we went through hell” but described
the moment as a “celebration” — while maintaining as he did throughout
the impeachment inquiry and trial that he “did nothing wrong.”
And on a day when he and House Speaker
Nancy Pelosi were trading shots in deeply personal terms, Trump turned
fire on those who prosecuted the case and other investigations against
him. He called Pelosi and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam
Schiff “horrible” and “vicious” people.
“It was evil, it was corrupt, it was
dirty cops, and it was leakers and liars. This should never, ever happen
to another president, ever,” Trump said. “It was a disgrace.”
He detailed the timeline of investigations, remarking of the Russia probe: “It was all bulls—.”
And as he did earlier Thursday at a
prayer breakfast, Trump brandished a copy of the day’s Washington Post
with a blaring headline: “Trump acquitted.”
“We can take that home, honey. Maybe
we’ll frame it,” he joked to first lady Melania Trump, saying that it
was the “best” headline he’s ever received from the outlet.
Of course, now they even tried to make Trump sound like the anti-Christ.
According to Fox:
“By all signs, Donald Trump doesn’t
understand faith, he does not seem to be a person of faith,” Harwood
said. “He does not recognize the values that faith teaches us,
distinctions between right and wrong. And so for him, this is a primal
reaction to people who have hurt him and he wants to hurt them. He made
that clear.”
He added: “What is alarming about it…
Republicans in his audience today were laughing and cheering along with
him.” He later slammed the GOP for not “restraining” the president.
CNN raised eyebrows last month when the network announced it
had hired Harwood to be its White House correspondent. Harwood, who
previously exited CNBC, was widely known for his overly-hostile
moderating during a GOP primary debate in 2015.
Earlier this week, Hardwood faced backlash
for claiming 25 senators who voted against hearing witnesses during
Trump’s impeachment trial represent “states of the Confederacy during
the Civil War.”
