President Donald Trump on Saturday said he wants to see House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Rep. Adam Schiff, both California Democrats, former Vice President Joe Biden and others to publicly testify in the impeachment inquiry.
“I recommend that Nervous Nancy Pelosi (who backed up Schiff’s lie), Shifty Adam Schiff, Sleepy Joe Biden, the Whistleblower (who miraculously disappeared after I released the transcript of the call), the 2nd Whistleblower (who also disappeared), & the I.G., be part of the list!” Trump tweeted.
Pelosi and Schiff, the chair of the House Intelligence Committee, are leading the charge for the impeachment inquiry, which goes to public hearings this coming week.
Like Trump, Republicans have been critical of the probe as one-sided and unfair, while many also want the initial whistleblower to be unmasked.
