Surprise, Surprise: Terror Sponsor Iran Is Still Enriching Uranium

The United Nations' International Atomic Energy Agency has released a report claiming that Iran's uranium enrichment program is still proceeding despite the Trump administration's attempts to drag the terror-sponsoring nation to the negotiating table. There's a catch: As far as the IAEA has determined, Iran has only enriched their uranium to the 60 percent stage; 90 percent is required for a bomb.

That's doable, though.

The International Atomic Energy Agency said in a confidential report circulated to member states that Iran had grown its stockpile of 60%-enriched uranium to 408.6 kilograms from 274.8 kilograms in early February, an increase of around 50%. The Wall Street Journal viewed a copy of the report.

That means Iran has enough highly enriched uranium for roughly 10 nuclear weapons, based on IAEA measures of the minimum fissile material required, up from at least six at the time of the last report.

U.S. officials say it could take Iran less than two weeks to convert this highly enriched uranium into enough weapons-grade 90% fissile material for a nuclear weapon.

The obvious question here is this: How do we know they haven't already done so? Of course, we could cite the lack of a mushroom cloud over Tel Aviv - or New York - as evidence. It's not at all unlikely that, should Iran assemble a weapon, they'd seek to use it.

Iran says its nuclear work is purely peaceful. The U.S. says that Tehran hasn’t decided to build a nuclear bomb but that it would need only a few months to assemble one.

Yes, Iran claims its nuclear work is purely peaceful, which is about as believable as claiming the moon consists of green cheese.

We've reported on this and the Trump administration's attempts to bring Iran to the table over the last few days:

There's a lot of tentative language coming out of this IAEA report. To an extent, that's understandable. It's impossible to prove a negative, and so it's not realistic to expect any assurances that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon. Iran certainly won't be forthcoming. They will hide any such efforts, and they've got a lot of rough country to hide those efforts in.

The IAEA has said it can’t verify that Iran’s nuclear program is for peaceful purposes.

“The significantly increased production and accumulation of highly enriched uranium by Iran, the only non-nuclear-weapon State to produce such nuclear material, is of serious concern,” IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said in the report.

The UN and the IAEA are right to be concerned, and a sternly worded letter to Iran is sure to follow. If that doesn't work, maybe another letter, worded even more sternly, will do the trick.

Nothing, of course, the UN can do will prevent Iran from developing a device in secret, perhaps in a hidden facility in the Zagros Mountains. Or buying one from North Korea. The first clue we may get of this is likely to be a mushroom cloud over an Israeli or American city. Israel is more than likely prepared for a direct strike against Iran's nuclear facilities, or at least, the ones that have been identified. While the chances of such an action present a serious risk of escalation, it may be, in the end, the only way to bring the mullah's nuclear ambitions to a halt.

Sheriff Grady Judd Explains Shooting Suspect 68 Times: 'I Guess We Ran Out of Bullets'

We're making it official: Polk County's Sheriff Grady Judd is America's sheriff. This is the individual who, in 2020, used photographs as visual aids to train the press on how to distinguish between a peaceful protest and a riot or looting. In 2022, in the wake of Hurricane Ian, he encouraged victims of the storm to shoot looters until they look "like grated cheese." Florida is a law-and-order state, and Judd and Gov. Ron DeSantis are on the same page.

DeSantis recently had Judd as a guest, and the conversation turned to the controversial shooting of a man 68 times. Grady had no apologies.Based.

Here's the full video; the relevant part starts around 6:58:Nationwide.
It's true. In any other state, the law enforcement officers would be ostracized and punished.
Agreed. If only there were more of him.

Whistleblower: Biden Admin Discriminated Against White Farmers in Race-Based Loan Forgiveness Program

The Biden administration is under fire following whistleblower allegations that it implemented a race-based loan forgiveness program that discriminated against white farmers. According to a whistleblower from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the administration offered to forgive up to 120 percent of outstanding farm loan debt—but only for farmers who met certain racial criteria. Critics argue that the policy prioritized skin color over financial need. At the time, the USDA was led by Secretary Tom Vilsack.

Section 1005 of the American Rescue Act states that it provided loan relief specifically for socially disadvantaged farmers and was only granted to those who qualified as socially disadvantaged farmers or ranchers. The whistleblower said that the Biden regime “was trying to keep this hushed because of the obvious implications of race-based loan forgiveness.”

A “socially disadvantaged farmer” was defined as an American Indian, Alaska Native, Asian, Black or African American, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, Hispanic, or Latino. This qualified them to have their loan fully paid off, plus an additional 20 percent to cover taxes.

In an interview with NewsNation, the whistleblower said that only minority farmers received a letter from the agency informing them of their “potential eligibility as a Farm Loan Programs borrower for a payment under Section 1005 of the American Rescue Plan Act.”

“It’s not right,” the whistleblower said. “It was discriminatory. Unethical. And the people who pushed it are still in charge of the agency … (those) at the national office. Trump hasn’t gotten rid of them.”

The outlet noted that a group of farmers—specifically white farmers—sued the federal government, arguing that the loan forgiveness program was race-based and violated the Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution. A federal judge agreed, ruling that the program caused “an actual constitutional harm that cannot be undone.” The judge stated that white farmers “will suffer the harm of being excluded from eligibility for that debt relief program solely on the basis of race,” calling the harm “irreparable.”

Following the federal court ruling, the whistleblower also revealed that white farmers were intentionally excluded from notifications about a new payment and loan modification program offered under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).

Mexican Authorities Arrest Colombian Mercenaries Building Explosives for Cartels

Mexican Army soldiers arrested a group of Colombian mercenaries believed to be behind a landmine attack that killed eight soldiers in western Mexico.

In a series of raids in the state of Michoacan, Mexican military forces arrested 12 Colombian nationals and five Mexicans who were part of a cell of cartel gunmen operating in the region. The gunmen are believed to be linked to the Carteles Unidos faction of the Familia Michoacana, which had been fighting against the Cartel Jalisco New Generation (CJNG). Both cartels have been designated as foreign terror groups by the U.S. Department of State.

The raid took place in a rural area near the Los Reyes municipality, an area that rival criminal organizations have long fought over as a prime drug trafficking area into Mexico, as well as a drug production area with large-scale labs hidden in rural areas.

The raids came just days after, as Breitbart Texas reported, six soldiers died and two others sustained critical injuries after driving their armored vehicle over a landmine. The two injured soldiers died just days later.

Following the fatal explosion, military forces carried out a series of intelligence operations, leading them to the compound where they arrested the 17 gunmen.

At the time of the arrests, military forces seized various weapons as well as explosive devices, gunpowder, and what appear to be plastic explosives similar to the one commonly known as C-4.

The presence of the Colombian gunmen follows a trend that has long been reported by Breitbart Texas, where drug cartels have been recruiting gunmen from terrorist organizations such as the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) from Colombia and other guerrilla groups to train them in tactics and the use of explosives.
