Trump to make English the official language of US with executive order
WASHINGTON — President Trump is expected to sign an executive order making English the official language of the US for the first time in the country’s 250-year history, The Post has confirmed.
The mandate would mark the first time the US has had an official language at the federal level — and would negate a rule issued by former President Bill Clinton that required federal agencies to have language materials for non-English speakers.
The executive action will now require the agencies or groups that receive government funding to no longer provide assistance in languages other than English.

The Wall Street Journal, which first reported the incoming order, reported the text outlines a need for unity, efficiency and civic engagement.
Trump has long spoken about the rise of illegal immigration through the southern border — and the need for English to be the primary language spoken in the country.
“This is a country where we speak English, not Spanish,” Trump said in a presidential debate in 2015.
He repeated a similar sentiment during his 2024 campaign, saying, “We have languages coming into our country. We don’t have one instructor in our entire nation that can speak that language.”
“These are languages — it’s the craziest thing — they have languages that nobody in this country has ever heard of. It’s a very horrible thing,” the president has said.
English is the most widely-spoken language in the US, and 32 states have declared it as the official language.
US lawmakers have also introduced legislation for decades to the same effect — but it has never reached the president’s desk.
Most recently, Sen. Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio), who emigrated from Colombia and became an American citizen at the age of 18, floated a bill to make English the official language of the US.
That legislation goes further than the executive order and would have forced all US government functions to be conducted in English — while also mandating applicants for citizenship to demonstrate proficiency in the language.

Rep. Gabe Evans, R-Colo., introduced the "Unhandcuffing Police to Locate and Interdict Foreign Transgressors (UPLIFT) Act" in Congress earlier this week to prompt public officials in Colorado and nationwide to communicate with feds about illegal immigrants who are believed to have committed other crimes, even though certain state laws limit their ability to do so.
"State laws have a national impact, because if federal law enforcement uses information from a criminal justice database, and Colorado provided that information, the state and local cops in Colorado who provided that information can get in trouble," Evans said in an interview with Fox News Digital. "And so the feds don't want to get their state and local partners in trouble."

The Republican noted that his suburban Denver district has made national headlines related to the border and illegal immigration crisis, despite being hundreds of miles away from the border itself.
In January, the Drug Enforcement Administration arrested roughly 50 illegal immigrants, many of whom had ties to the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, which the Trump administration now classifies as a foreign terrorist organization, Fox News Digital reported.
"I mean, look at the Tren de Aragua nightclub takedown that happened in my district, by the way," he said.

"State and local law enforcement knew who those guys were. They just weren't allowed to do anything. And we had to wait until a new administration came into power to go send federal law enforcement out to get these guys," he said, adding that some of these challenges are "directly impacting community safety."
Evans also responded to any possible criticism that the bill would interfere with state's rights if passed.
"Under the Supremacy Clause and under the fact that this is expressly delegated to the federal government, this is not trampling on states' rights, and this is not overstepping the 10th Amendment," he argued.

Federal and local law enforcement officials conducted a drug and immigration raid at a makeshift nightclub at 6600 Federal Boulevard in Adams County, Colorado, early on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2025. Police tape was still up around the building pictured on Jan. 27, which appears to indicate that it was the warehouse where the invitation-only Tren de Aragua party was hosted.
As the congressman was sworn in this January, this is his first bill introduced in the chamber. The legislation is sponsored by fellow Colorado Republican Reps. Lauren Boebert, Jeff Crank and Jeff Hurd.
"Proud to be an original co-sponsor of the UPLIFT Act. [CO-3] will be safer if Colorado cooperates with federal law enforcement—particularly when it comes to dangerous criminals here illegally," Hurd tweeted.
Contemptible Tate Brothers Come Stateside
The popular influencers are being probed for human trafficking, and their visit to Florida caused a stir.
“Give me your tired, your poor, your … sex traffickers yearning to exploit women for money.”
Wait, what?
I had planned this morning to write about a sex trafficker named Jeffrey Epstein, expecting that we’d get a tranche of information about the powerful and wealthy people who participated with him in exploiting many young women over many years. (Epstein supposedly hung himself in a jail cell in 2019.) The big news about all that ended up being little more than a clown show yesterday, however, involving the Justice Department giving redundant and yawn-worthy information via a small band of prolific MAGA social media influencers. We learned nothing new or noteworthy.
The Epstein Files won’t release themselves.
Anyway, during our editors’ call this morning, I drew the short straw and will instead relay the story of two different (alleged!) sex traffickers — Andrew and Tristan Tate — and their arrival in Florida from Romania.
The Tate brothers hold dual American and British citizenship, and until yesterday, they have not been allowed to leave Romania since authorities opened an investigation of them in 2022. The two social media influencers are accused by numerous women of exploiting them to build their lucrative adult entertainment enterprise, and authorities are investigating allegations of money laundering and human trafficking. In the UK, the brothers are wanted on allegations of tax evasion, rape, and human trafficking, which seems odd given the British tendency to look the other way when Muslim men rape young women.
(Side note: Andrew claims to be a Muslim, though Tristan claims to be Christian.)
They both vigorously deny the charges, though both are, well, on video bragging about doing the things they’re accused of doing. When asked, their chief refrain is that they have not been convicted of any crimes. Andrew calls himself a misogynist pimp, and Tristan is the ever-present yes-man echoing his older brother. They blame the “matrix” for a conspiracy to silence them because they preach against the “woke mind virus.” I would readily concede that neither Romania nor the UK are paragons of justice, especially regarding free speech, but that hardly proves anything.
“This is a democratic society,” Andrew pontificated outside Fort Lauderdale airport yesterday. “It is meant to be innocent until proven guilty.”
Yes, that’s true, but I have a higher standard of morality than “Well, I wasn’t convicted.”
You might be asking, who cares about these guys? Why is it news?
Unfortunately, millions of people follow them — primarily disaffected young men who desperately want a masculine role model in a society that tells them they are the problem. They support Donald Trump, and they oppose feminism, DEI, and anything woke. They have enjoyed promotion from influencers like Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, and Benny Johnson and even received praise from Trump attorney Alina Habba. It’s all what our Samantha Koch recently called “The Delusional Embrace of Andrew Tate.”
Because I have three teenage sons, I listened to one of their podcasts a few months back. I’ll summarize the 90-minute show this way: “We’re awesome. Unbelievably awesome, in fact. And all of you out there are total and pathetic losers who will never be awesome like us. Unless you give us some money and take our online courses, and then maybe you might achieve a shadow of our greatness.”
Truly, that was the thread for an hour and a half.
Their social media posts are even more tedious. Andrew proclaims the “virtues” of having “multiple beautiful baby mothers producing you children,” and he declares, “The Nuclear family has nuked masculinity to zero.” There’s plenty more, but their appalling commodification of women is often too vulgar for a family publication.
Yet when two buff and athletic guys (both international kickboxing champions) smoke cigars, drink whiskey, and generally exude machismo while boasting about the beautiful girls they’ve bedded, the exotic cars they drive, and all the money flooding into their bank accounts, it becomes almost irresistible for young men who also want those things.
Of course, the Tate brothers put the “toxic” in “toxic masculinity,” effectively making the argument against men better than any raving feminist ever could.
There is speculation that the Trump administration either pressured Romania for the Tates’ release or at least facilitated their entry back into the United States. When asked, President Donald Trump said, “I know nothing about that.”
Regardless, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis isn’t happy. “Florida is not a place where you’re welcome with that type of conduct,” said DeSantis. “We were not notified. I found out through the media that this was something that was happening.”
The brothers may end up having an uneventful trip to the U.S. before heading back to Romania in March for further proceedings. They may never be convicted of anything in a court of law. Still, two narcissists who run around bragging about exploiting women who aren’t worthy of anything more than that are not worth listening to, much less extolling. Just because they “make a great point” about the Left every now and then does not make them or their hollow vision of life worthy of respect.

President Donald Trump has revealed that he wants to get to the bottom of the infamous Biden-era cocaine scandal at the White House.
In an interview published Friday, Trump said he suspects a member of former President Joe Biden’s family was responsible for leaving a bag of cocaine in the White House in July 2023.
The discovery of cocaine in the West Wing of the White House quickly became a national scandal.
Speculation swirled as to who left the drugs inside one of the most secure buildings in the world.
Many suspected it was Joe Biden’s known drug addict son Hunter who was responsible.
However, a Secret Service investigation mysteriously concluded without a suspect.
An official determination was never disclosed to the public.
However, Trump told The Spectator World that he believes “either Joe or Hunter” Biden is responsible.
Ben Domenech, the interviewer for The Spectator World, asked Trump:
“So … who actually left the cocaine in the White House?”
“Well, either Joe or Hunter. Could be Joe, too,” Trump said.
“OK, so that was such a terrible thing because, you know, those bins are very loaded up with … they’re not clean, and they have hundreds and even thousands of fingerprints,” Trump answered.
“And when they went to look at it, it was absolutely stone cold, wiped dry.
“You know that, right?”
The “bins” Trump refers to are small cubbies near a West Wing entrance frequently used by visitors.
Visitors are encouraged to store personal items in the small lockers as they tour, according to ABC News.
One of these “bins” is where the bag of cocaine was discovered.
Secret Service agents discovered the cocaine on July 2, 2023.
However, they initially suspected it could be anthrax, prompting an evacuation of the West Wing.
Law enforcement eventually concluded the substance in question was cocaine after conducting further testing.
“See? Well, because, I mean, I was briefly a Bush speechwriter,” Domenech said.
“And so I knew exactly what they were talking about.
“And I was like, ‘those things are filthy.’ They’re filthy.”
“And there were fingerprints,” Trump responded.
“I mean, if you went to one, maybe we’re cleaner, but if you went to one at any time, you would see hundreds.
“Everybody in there would leave a fingerprint when they went in, and that thing was wiped out with, with the strongest form of alcohol.”
Hunter Biden has struggled with addiction in his past.
Many observers suggested that his history of drug abuse and presence at the White House shortly before the discovery make him a potential culprit.
Nevertheless, Trump is keen to find the individual responsible.
“By the way, and I have to tell you, I think I’m going to look into that because it was … bad stuff happened there,” Trump told Domenech.

“So during business hours, there were employees who were just openly discussing male to female transgender surgeries — castration. They were talking about faux vaginas; they were talking about pee fetishes,” says Sara Gonzales of “Sara Gonzales Unfiltered.”
The chat logs also revealed that these government employees were “talking bad about heterosexuals and discussing group sex.”
Gabbard told Fox News’ Jesse Watters that she “put out a directive that they all will be terminated and their security clearances will be revoked.”
“When you see what these people were saying — and thanks to Chris Rufo for putting it all out online — they were brazen in using an NSA platform intended for professional use to conduct this kind of really, really horrific behavior,” she said.
“And they were brazen in doing this because when was the last time anyone was really held accountable? Certainly not over the last four years, certainly not over the last 10, maybe 20 years,” Gabbard continued.
Sara agrees, adding, “This is what happens when you hire based off of DEI — you get a bunch of degenerates.”
“They're supposed to be guardians for America,” says head researcher and writer for Glenn Beck, Jason Buttrill. “That's what they're supposed to be doing, but instead they're talking about this crap.”
Jason can’t help but wonder what else is going on that we haven’t discovered yet. The corruption, especially when it comes to DEI, is so systemic in the intel community that it’s “going to take the four full years” to root it all out, but even that might not be enough time.
“I think it's so important that we not laugh off this DEI stuff. ... Don't look at it like, ‘Oh, it's good that the Trump administration is dealing with it.’ No, they need to go to war against this ideology because it's cultural Marxism,” he says.

Stacey Abrams Faces Georgia Senate Investigation: 'Nobody Is Above the Law, Even If They Were a Darling of MSNBC'
Election-denying Democrat's voting rights group admitted to illegally contributing to her campaign

The Georgia Senate introduced a resolution Thursday to investigate twice-failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams (D.) and the New Georgia Project, a voting rights group she founded, after the organization admitted to illegally aiding her 2018 campaign.
Senate Resolution 292 would authorize the Special Committee on Investigations to examine Abrams's ties to the nonprofit, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. In January, the New Georgia Project agreed to pay a record $300,000 fine after it admitted to more than a dozen campaign finance violations, including failing to disclose $4.2 million in campaign contributions and $3.2 million in expenditures. The group made those contributions under the leadership of then-chairman Raphael Warnock, now Georgia's junior senator.
The resolution, which is expected to pass in the Republican-majority chamber, marks a major escalation in efforts to scrutinize Abrams, who claimed for years that the 2018 race, which she lost to Republican governor Brian Kemp, was "rigged" and "stolen."
It also directs the committee to investigate a $2 billion federal grant awarded to Power Forward Communities, another nonprofit linked to Abrams. Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency revealed earlier this month that the Biden administration had allocated the funds to the green energy organization.
Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones (R.), who leads the State Senate, has vowed to hold Abrams accountable.
"The people of Georgia were defrauded by Stacey Abrams," Jones said in a statement Friday. "She's now been forced to admit it and tried to get it to go away."
"But Georgians want real accountability," Jones went on. "With these subpoena powers, my office is going to get to the truth. In Georgia, nobody is above the law, even if they were a darling of MSNBC. Anyone who broke the law and stole from taxpayers, including Stacey Abrams, should go to jail."

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ)'s Office of International Affairs coordinated with law enforcement partners in Mexico to secure the arrest and extradition of a notorious Mexican drug cartel leader, the DOJ announced Tuesday.
Omar Cuenca-Marino, 41, the alleged leader of the Los Rojos drug cartel, was indicted by a federal grand jury on December 21, 2016. Now, after Cuenca-Marino was extradited to Georgia, where much of his drug distributions allegedly took place, he has been arraigned before Chief U.S. Magistrate Judge Russell G. Vineyard on federal charges of conspiracy to commit money laundering and conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute and unlawful import of methamphetamine, cocaine, and heroin into the United States.
According to the charges, between approximately 2013 and 2016, Cuenca-Marino's cartel was responsible for importing large quantities of heroin, methamphetamine, and cocaine from Mexico into the United States, specifically in the state of Georgia. The federal investigation identified Cuenca-Marino as the Mexico-based kingpin of this cartel who oversaw the preparation of thousands of kilograms of cocaine, methamphetamine, and heroin in Mexico and arranged to have the drugs smuggled into America, using buses and tractor-trailers. Cuenca-Marino also allegedly directed the collection of millions of dollars of drug proceeds for transport from the U.S. back to Mexico.
For instance:
- On October 11, 2013, a law enforcement operation in Georgia led to the seizure of approximately 75 kilograms of methamphetamine, 23 kilograms of heroin, and 47 kilograms of cocaine. Cuenca-Marino allegedly directed the smuggling of these drugs into the United States for distribution in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
- On November 20, 2015, law enforcement seized 76 packages of cocaine from a vehicle in a parking lot in Duluth, Georgia. The investigation revealed that Cuenca-Marino had relayed the phone number of the Atlanta-based trafficker who was about to take possession of the drugs.
- On February 9, 2016, law enforcement stopped a vehicle traveling on Interstate 44 in Phelps County, Missouri, and found $425,900 in drug proceeds. The driver, who was en route to Mexico, allegedly contacted Cuenca-Marino the following day to report that the vehicle had been in an "accident."
This week, the DOJ also announced the extradition of 29 Mexican cartel members to the U.S. for federal prosecution, including a drug lord who allegedly tortured and murdered a U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) agent in 1985.
These members of the Sinaloa Cartel, Cártel de Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG), Cártel del Noreste, La Nueva Familia Michoacana, and Cártel de Golfo (Gulf Cartel) will now face federal charges of racketeering, drug trafficking, murder, illegal use of firearms, and money laundering.
Many of those captured were subject to longstanding U.S. extradition requests that were not honored during the Biden-Harris administration. President Donald Trump signed an executive order in January that designated international drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, a move which spurred Mexico to honor the extradition requests, according to the DOJ.
"As President Trump has made clear, cartels are terrorist groups, and this Department of Justice is devoted to destroying cartels and transnational gangs. We will prosecute these criminals to the fullest extent of the law in honor of the brave law enforcement agents who have dedicated their careers — and in some cases, given their lives — to protect innocent people from the scourge of violent cartels. We will not rest until we secure justice for the American people," U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi said in a press statement.
Federal prosecutors will evaluate whether additional terrorism charges are appropriate based on the policy set forth in Trump's executive order as well as whether capital punishment is warranted pursuant to Trump's directive on "Restoring the Death Penalty" and Bondi's guidance concerning application of the death penalty.

Ailing Pope Francis’ health deteriorates as he has suffered a worrying breathing crisis, Vatican sources reveal.
In his 13th day in the hospital, the pontiff suffered a bout of bronchospasm, with caused him to breath vomit, among other complications.
The Sun reported:
“Vatican insiders detailed the alarming episode, stating: ‘This afternoon, after a morning spent alternating respiratory physiotherapy with prayer in the chapel, the Holy Father presented an isolated attack of bronchospasm which, however, led to an episode of vomiting with inhalation and a sudden worsening of his respiratory condition’.
Medical staff acted swiftly, clearing his airways and initiating non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
‘The Holy Father was promptly aspirated and started on non-invasive mechanical ventilation, with a good response on gas exchange’, the sources confirmed.”
Vatican sources say that Francis was awaken and alert throughout the crisis.
“The Holy Father always remained vigilant and oriented, collaborating in the therapeutic maneuvers.”
Today’s scare follows three days of moderately positive updates, with ‘slight improvements’.
The Pope is battling a ‘complex’ infection caused by two or more micro-organisms.
“A Vatican official, speaking anonymously, stated that the breathing issue ‘did not last a long time’ and that doctors would need 24-48 hours to assess its impact on his clinical condition.”

The congressman says U.S. District Judge Amir Ali is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors.

Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) speaks during a House Freedom Caucus press conference on appropriations at House Triangle on Capitol Hill in Washington on July 25, 2023.
Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) has filed an article of impeachment against the federal judge who temporarily blocked the Trump administration’s suspension of all foreign aid amid pending litigation.
The AIDS Vaccine Advocacy Coalition and the Journalism Development Network—both nonprofit USAID grant recipients—filed a lawsuit challenging the order and asked the judge to halt its enforcement.
Ogles’s resolution contends that, in issuing those orders, the judge engaged in conduct “so utterly lacking in intellectual honesty and basic integrity that he is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors.”
The congressman argued that Ali “without merit marginalized the President’s Article II authority, which vests the power to conduct foreign policy in the President of the United States.” Ogles also charged the judge with compromising Trump’s “fiduciary obligation to review federal agencies and programs.”
Ali did not return The Epoch Times’ request for comment by publication time.
Ogles is not the only congressman seeking to oust judges who have contradicted the president’s policies. Reps. Eli Crane (R-Ariz.) and Andrew Clyde (R-Ga.) have likewise introduced articles of impeachment against District Judges Paul Engelmayer of the Southern District of New York and John McConnell of the District of Rhode Island.
“Under Article I of the U.S. Constitution, Congress has the power to impeach and convict federal officials,” Crane noted in a social media post on X.
He said he appreciated his fellow lawmakers’ use of “every tool at their disposal to combat judicial overreach,” adding, “We won’t win many battles by waiting on others to take action.”
